This adapter does NOT work with the ACER Aspire 4720.This model was NOT mentioned in the item description, so I do not blame the merchant at all.

If you have a laptop with a yellow video out 7-pin mini-din - the pin for composite (rca jack) video is usually one of the middle 3 pins that are NOT like S-Video 4-pin layout!

If you look at the merchant's close-up view of the mini-din connector, the active composite (rca jack) pin is the bottom row, 2nd from the left. (I just tested it and verified it with a multimeter).

Unfortunately my acer needs the bottom row pin, 2nd from the right.
