(More customer reviews)I was scared at first that this might not work with my laptop, since others have had a difficult time with it. But my only other option was to spend over $50. So I thought this would be a good try, and it was. The connection works with my laptop, but I did do a bit of research first to see if my laptop had TV out capabilities. You can get high definition quality with this cable but only in black and White. With color, the quality goes down a bit (still sharp, but colors flicker). You can't really tell the difference unless you are right in front of the TV. I don't regret buying this cable and it works for what I want to do (watch free hulu movies/shows on the big screen!)
