(More customer reviews)Using the latest 2.10 firmware, the TV out cable works great. To use it, follow these steps (not explicitly explained by Cowon):
1) Connect the TV and the S9
2) Start a movie up
3) Press the flip button and select the TV out icon (a square with an arrow going into it)
4) Pressing + (or -, get them confused) will return playback to the S9.
5) Pressing - changes the aspect ratio. It's normally set to the default aspect ratio, but pressing this makes it stretch full screen. Pressing it again does nothing, and I'm guessing it's supposed to crop it to fullscreen but is bugged or not implemented yet.

There's not much else to say about it, it just works. Probably saves battery life as well but I haven't tested it.
